AIM

The aim of this agreement is to establish planning guidelines for fire and emergency services' response to major incidents, including protection of lives and property, and performance of related emergency functions. This agreement is intended to ensure that all fire-fighters supporting NATO missions will have the necessary capability to operate in a major incident, hazardous environment, or mass casualty accident.
