The Videotex processable data facility specified in this ETS is intended to be used for data file transfer. These files may contain software or other file types. This ETS may be used to download files from the host to the terminal. It may also be used for transferring files between two end systems in both directions, all the operations then being performed under the control of one or the other system depending on a preliminary negotiation.
