The device covered by this specification is a 22 inch, high resolution cathode ray tube with a 62 degree, magnetically driven deflection angle, electrostatic focus and aluminized screen. The tube features a metal cone, a glass faceplate, a tempered glass safety panel and an electrical insulation silicone rubber boot.

These tubes will be used in the Automated Radar Terminal System (ARTS III) of the National Airspace System.
