scope:
Scope. This instruction supplements the basic guidance for Navy information security program (ISP), reference (a), and personnel security program (PSP), reference (b). Provisions of this instruction apply to all military, civilian, contract personnel, and to all activities within Bureau of Naval Personnel (BUPERS) claimancy. In addition, BUPERS personnel located in the Navy Annex will be subject to provisions of reference (c).
Purpose. To establish policy and provide guidance for information and personnel security.
