scope:
This specification describes the requirements for the procurement of ten types of general purpose, hermetically sealed, plug-in armature relays for use in shipboard fire control equipment. Armature relays close and open electrical contacts by means of an electromagnetically operated armature. Relay types in this specification differ with respect to their operating voltage requirements, sensitivity, transfer times, number of switching circuits, and contact ratings.
The armature relays shall be of the following types:
Type I BUWEPS Drawing Armature relay, miniature, four-pole, No. 1884956, double-throw, direct-current Type II BUWEPS Drawing Armature relay, miniature, low-level, No. 1677276, six-pole, double-throw, direct-current Type III BUWEPS Drawing Armature relay, minature, doublepole, No. 1884891, pole, double-throw, alternating-current Type IV BUWEPS Drawing Armature relay, miniature, double-pole, No. 1677373, double-throw, direct-current Type V BUWEPS Drawing Armature relay, miniature, double-pole, No. 1884896, double-throw, direct-current Type VI BUWEPS Drawing Armature relay, miniature, sensitive, No. 1677371, double-pole, double-throw, direct-current Type VII BUWEPS Drawing Armature relay, miniature, sensitive, No. 1884957, double-pole, double-throw, direct-current
Type VIII BUWEPS Drawing Armature relay, miniature, slow-operate, No. 1884087, double-pole, single-throw, direct-current Type IX BUWEPS Drawing Armature relay, miniature, six-pole, No. 1677337, double-throw, alternating-current Type X BUWEPS Drawing Armature relay, sub-miniature, low-level, No. 2038194 double-pole, double-throw, direct-current
intended Use:
The armature relay is intended for use in the Angle Solvers Mark 18 Mod 2 and Mod 3, the Fire Control System Mark 112 Mod 1, the Sonar Receiver Sets AN/BQG−1, −2, −3, −4,... View More
