This European Standard sets out guidelines to facilitate the application of ISO 9001 to organizations developing, supplying and maintaining software. This standard should be read in conjunction with ISO 9004. It is intended to provide guidance where a contract between two parties requires the demonstration of a supplier's capability to develop, supply and maintain software products.
