Introduction and Conventions
This standard specifies EGPRS-136 mobile station functions
related to mobility management.
• GMM (General Packet Radio Service Mobility Management) as specified in ETSI TS 124 008 [5].
• DCCH (Digital Control Channel) layer 3 as specified in TIA/EIA-136-123 [11].
Note the following conventions:
• Booleans are capitalized.
• Conditions are italicized.
• Inter-entity primitives are capitalized.
• Messages and message fields are italicized.
• Parameters are italicized.
• Procedures are italicized. States machine states are capitalized.
• Unless otherwise specified, all lengths are in bits.
