The standard provides technical information to be used for t he procurement of a gas turbine and its auxiliaries by a pur chaser from a manufacturer. Because of the very widely varyi ng operating modes for gas turbines in practice, distinct ca tegories of operating models are specified with which a "sta ndard" rating can be the associated. These ratings must also be made on the basis of the standard ambient reference cond itions.
