The aim of this agreement is to specify for NATO operational use an anti-emetic drug for the prevention of radiation-induced nausea and vomiting, which conforms to NATO requirements for efficacy, safety, and maintenance of combat capability and command reliability.
The approved drug is not intended to protect against effects of radiation other than nausea and vomiting.
