1. SCOPE
This specification defines the physical property and performance requirements for polyolefin based positive locking fasteners. Type I Pop-in/Slide-in mushroom stem fastener attached using hole or slot. Type II Rigid back mushroom stem fastener attached by rivet or screw. Type III Acrylic foam backed mushroom stem fastener pressure sensitive attachment. Type IV Plain back mushroom stem fastener attached by stapling, sewing, ultrasonic welding or thermoneumatic welding.
