scope:

This specification covers the requirements for three cargo parachute assemblies and the separate components thereof.

The cargo parachutes shall be of the following sizes as specified (see 6.2).

Size - 12-foot diameter Size - 26-foot diameter Size - 34-foot diameter

The following cargo parachute components may be procured separately when specified (see 6.2). Beneficial comments (recommendations, additions, deletions) and any pertinent data which may be of use in improving this document should be addressed to: U.S. Army Natick Research, Development, and Engineering Center, Attn: SSCNC-UTE, Natick, MA 01760-5017 by using the self-addressed Standardization Document Improvement Proposal (DD Form 1426) appearing at the end of this document or by letter.
