scope:

This standard is intended for manufacturers and stockists of steel for reinforcement in straight lengths and for companies which project and/or carry out concrete structures. This standard deals with steel for reinforcement used without prestressing for fully concreting structures according to DS 411. The standard deals with ribbed reinforcing steel, indented reinforcing steel and bars from 5 mm. The standard determines types of testing and test procedures to assure the properties of the steel. Annex A gives rules for attestation of conformity with this standard.
