The nonelectric valves are intended for use on steam and hydronics heatings systems having a maximum operating temperature of 248°F and 150 psig pressure for hot water and 15 psig for saturated steam. Type I is for applications where inlet and outlet are straight in line with the dial at an angle of 90° of the inlet and outlet. Type II valve has inlet in line with the dial while the outlet is at an angle of 90° to the dial. Type III valve has inlet at an angle of 90° to the dial while the outlet is in line with the dial. Style A, E, and F operators should be mounted horizontally.

Generally, temperature ranges specified herein are intended for normal room or building temperatures.

The length of the capillary tubes for the remote sensors should be sufficient to permit installation of the sensor in the path of the cold air flowing to the radiator in a remote wall mounted situation according to the manufacturer's mounting instructions.
