MIL-HDBK-1195 establishes specific criteria for the design and construction of shielded enclosures. The Design Manual 12.1, Electronic Facilities Engineering, establishes the general criteria for the design of Electronic Facilities. The Design Manual 12.02, High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse Protection for Ground-Based Facilities, establishes the general criteria for protection of ground base facilities from high altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP).
