Organization: | CSA |
Publication Date: | 1 March 1993 |
Status: | inactive |
Page Count: | 25 |
scope:
This Standard applies to pipe and fittings made of random copoiymerized polypropylene (PP-R) intended for use in pressure applications such as hot and cold potable water distribution systems. Piping system components are made in two standard dimension ratios (SDR 5 or 6) in sizes NPS-3/8 through 3 and are joined using socket-type heat-fusion joints.
This Standard includes requirements for materials, dimensions, hydrostatic sustained pressure performance, heat reversion, apparent tensile strength, cold impact resistance, and marking.
The values given in SI (metric) units are the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
