scope:
The equipment covered by this specification shall be for shop use and shall provide signals and measuring devices necessary for the maintenance of the AN/APN-141 (V) Electronic Altimeter Set.
The test equipment covered by this specification shall consist of the following items:

Test Equipment Characteristics Required Oscilloscope 5 inch screen; 4 traces; sweep Tektronix 585A speed .05 usec/cm to 50 usec/cm; trigger amplitude 0.5 to 60V pk/pk; vertical sensitivity: .02 v/cm × 5 magnification; frequency response: X-axis, DC to 1Mhz/sec; input im- pedance: 1 megohm on X-axis Digital Voltmeter Range: 0-40 VDC Cubic 240 Accuracy: .01% or 1 digit Electronic Counter 10 MHz Standard Frequency Hewlett Packard HP524D Stability 1 part in 10 Signal Generator Frequency: 4000-4500 MHz Hewlett Packard 861A Power +4 DBM with a 100 db attenuator Voltmeter Electronic Ranges: 1V to 300V full scale in Hewlett Packard 410B 6 ranges AC or DC. Accuracy: ±3% of full scale on all ranges for sinusoidal AC voltages at 400 Hz and for DC voltages.
intended Use:
This equipment is intended to provide the test capability required for fault isolation, repair and adjustment of the AN/APN-141 (V) Altimeter, down to the module level.
