scope:
This specification covers liquid quantity, pressure, and temperature indicators and transmitters for 24 volt (nominal) direct current (dc) electrical systems (see 6.1). The transmitters are of the electrical resistance type.
Indicators and transmitters shall be of the following units, types and classes, as specified (see 6.2):
Unit 1 - Indicators. Type I - Liquid quantity. Type II - Temperature. Type III - Pressure. Unit 2 - Transmitters. Type I - Liquid quantity. Class 1 - Float type. Class 2 - Submerged tube type. Type II - Temperature. Type III - Pressure.
