This Standard applies to cord-connected and permanently connected electrically heated pottery kilns for use on nominal system voltages of 600 Vor less, designed to be used in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
This Standard does not apply to electrical equipment employing high-frequency currents or industrial heating equipment.
