This specification covers adjustable, swinging-arm, fluorescent lights for use on drafting tables, desks, and floors.
Lights covered by this specification shall be of the following types, as specified (see 6.2):
Type I - Weighted base, desk model. Type II - Weighted base, floor model. Type III - Mounting clamp, desk or drafting table.
intended Use:
The lights are intended for use on desks, tables, drawing boards, benches, etcetera, to shield the light from the workers' eyes and direct maximum intensity on the work area.
