NAVY - NAVRESFOR 3025.1

(N80) OPERATIONAL ADVISORY GROUPS (OAGS) NAVAIRESFOR

active, Most Current
Organization: NAVY
Publication Date: 6 May 2002
Status: active
Page Count: 12
scope:

To provide guidance, delineate procedures and assign responsibilities for the sponsorship, conduct, and membership of aviation OAGs. This revision establishes a process for Commander, Naval Air Forces, (COMNAVAIRFOR/CNAF) through the aviation Type Commanders (TYCOMS), Commander, Naval Air Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (COMNAVAIRPAC/CNAP), Commander, Naval Air Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet (COMNAVAIRLANT/CNAL), and Commander, Naval Air Reserve Force COMNAVAIRESFOR/CNARF) to develop a consolidated requirements list that includes priorities for missions, weapons, and support systems. The development of consolidated requirements lists is a critical part of the OAG process. It provides valuable information to Fleet Commanders-in-Chief (CINCs), which is used in formulating their input into the budgetary process. This is a complete revision and should be reviewed in its entirety.
