The standards set forth herein apply to the First edition of the Standard for Ventless Firebox Enclosures for Gas-Fired Unvented Decorative Room Heaters, ANSI 221.91-2001, and supersede corresponding standards therein. Following their preparation by the supervising Technical Advisory Group, they were accepted by ANSI and subsequently approved.
