REISSUANCE AND PURPOSE. This Directive:

Reissues reference (a).

Cancels reference (b).

Establishes policy and responsibilities for administrating the DoD Customs and Border Clearance Program (CBCP) as part of reference (c).

Designates the Commander, U.S. Transportation Command as the Executive Agent for the DoD CBCP.

APPLICABILITY. This Directive applies to the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Military Departments (including their National Guard and Reserve components), the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Combatant Commands, Defense Agencies, the DoD Field Activities, and all other organizational entities in the Department of Defense (hereafter referred to collectively as "the DoD Components").
