These requirements apply to natural and liquefied petroleum gas-designed, ateospher- ically-fired

(a) vertical flue boilers designed and man¬ufactured primarily for the purpose of building heating.

(b) hot water supply heaters

NOTE: Refer to definition in Section V

These requirements apply to a boiler having a manufacturers' maximum input rating within the range of over 400 000 Btuh and up to and including 10 000 000 Btuh with an inlet pressure to the gas pressure regulator not in excess of 14 inch w.c. (1/2 psig).

These requirements apply to a boiler provided with automatic control devices and designed for automatic operation.

A boiler which complies with these requirements shall not be acceptable if it has features which impair the results contemplated by the requirements.
