scope:
Purpose. The purpose of the MWP is to improve the timeliness and quality of weather information for use of the meteorologists in the Center Weather Service Unit (CWSU) located at the Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCCs) and in the Central Flow Weather Service Unit (CFWSU) located in the Central Flow Control Facility in order to enhance the safety and efficiency of air traffic operations.
