scope:
PURPOSE. This procedure describes the process for performing and documenting receiving inspections and tests for incoming products to Goddard Space Flight Center in order to verify that specified requirements for the product are met, and for recording the supplier performance data resulting from those inspections and tests. Requirements for in-process and final inspections and tests, and test status are described in GPG 5330.1.
APPLICABILITY. This procedure applies to all Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) products covered by the scope of the GSFC Quality Management System (QMS).
