This guide specification covers requirements for automatic wet pipe and antifreeze residential fire sprinkler systems for one and two family dwellings and mobile homes. System requirements must conform to the current edition of Military Handbook MIL-HDBK-1008, "Fire Protection for Facilities Engineering Design and Construction" and NFPA 13D, "Installation of Sprinkler Systems in One- and Two- Family Dwellings and Mobile Homes." This guide specification is to be used in the preparation of project specifications in accordance MIL-HDBK-1006/1, "Policy and Procedures for Construction Drawings and Specifications Preparation."
