This part of IEC 315 gives methods of measurement for the more important characteristics of general-purpose communications receivers. It is intended to be used with Parts 1, 3 and 4 of IEC 315. In particular, frequent reference is made to Parts 1 and 3, rather than reproduce considerable amounts of text. This part does not specify performance of receivers.
