scope:

This specification covers waterproof, lead-acid storage batteries, furnished in charged and dry or charged and wet conditions, for starting, lighting and ignition service in military vehicles.

Storage batteries covered by this specifications shall be of the following types and conditions, as specified (see 3.5 and 6.2).
