scope:
Purpose. To prescribe policy and procedures for the maintenance, management, inventory, reporting, and supply support of AAE assets under the intent of references (a) through (f). This joint Type Commander (TYCOM) instruction is intended to standardize AAE management procedures and policies for each TYCOM and to provide all Fleet U. S. Navy/U. S. Marine Corps (USN/USMC) AAE pool managers a standardized reporting method. This is a complete revision and should be read in its entirety.
