This specification identifies polyester and polyether urethane types of sound absorbing foams used in General Motors vehicles. This spec will include both molded and flat stock foams. These polyurethane foams are not recommended for areas where temperatures get above 120ºC. These polyurethane foams are not recommended for underhood use.
