This specification covers nickel-copper alloy used for applications requiring comparatively high strength and resistance to corrosion where a material with low magnetic permeability is required (see 6.3.6). The permeability of this alloy is, for all practical purposes, not affected by the normal fabricating and processing operations to which material may be subjected.
