This Standard covers requirements for non-recirculating toilets and waste holding tanks and tests for materials, components, proper design and operation, and other significant properties of construction and finish, as well as provision for proper installation of the finished product. Marking requirements are also included.
Non-recirculating toilets covered by this Standard are those units which are connected to a water system and which drain to a waste holding tank. They are intended for use in recreational vehicles when installed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions.
