scope:
a. This manual is the basic organizational and regulatory directive for the watch organization of the Naval Medical Command, Washington, DC. It contains guides which outline the functions, responsibilities, authority, and principal relationships in the command watch organization.
b. This manual is limited to matters of internal organization and are not to be construed as altering or amending the provisions of U.S. Navy Regulations or any other directive of higher authority. If any conflict with superior authority is discovered, advise MEDCOM-09B.
