This Defence Standard specifies the suspension lugs that are to be fitted to all droppable armament stores (including auxiliary fuel tanks) using the 'twin-lug' suspension system and relates to:
Stores in the 500 kg class (up to 656 kg nominal mass) on 355.6 mm (14 inch) centres.
Stores in the 900-2270 kg class (657 to 2500 kg nominal mass) on 762 mm (30 inch) centres.
Stores up to 450 kg mass on 355.6 mm (14 inch) centres for carriage on helicopters.
