QUALIFIED PRODUCTS LIST OF PRODUCTS QUALIFIED UNDER MILITARY SPECIFICATION MIL-A-907 ANTISEIZE THREAD COMPOUND, HIGH TEMPERATURE

Qualified Products List QPL-907-44, dated 24 August 1983, is hereby canceled.

Military Specification MIL-A-907D, dated 22 June 1966 has been superseded by Military Specification MIL-A-907E, dated 18  June 1985.

The products which appear on QPL-907-44 are not valid under MIL-A-907E.

Qualified Products List QPL-907 will be re-established when a product has been granted qualification approval conforming to MIL-A-907E.

Pending the re-establishment of a Qualified Product8 List or the approval of a product for inclusion on the Qualified Products List, the qualification requirements (paragraphs 3.1 and 4.3).and qualification test of Military Specification MIL-A-907E shall be waived for acquisition for Antiseize Thread Compound, High Temperature; however, acquiring shall agencies require first article inspection invoking tests of paragraph 4.4 and 4.5 of MIL-A-907E. A copy of the first article test data, as certified to by the responsible government inspector, shall be forwarded to the applicable qualifying activity.

When a Qualified Products List is established for Military specification MIL-A-907E, this Notice should be destroyed.

The responsibility for establishment of a Qualified Products List for Military Specification MIL-A-907E has been assigned to the Naval Sea Systems Command, SEA 5523, Department of the Navy, Washington DC, 20362.
