DESCRIPTION/PURPOSE
The Advance Change Study Notice (ACSN) is used for management and cost control of contract efforts relative to the generation of Engineering change {proposals (ECPs). It provides the responsible technical offiec with advance information that is used to determine the need for the proposed change action. It may also be used by the procuring agency to direct the contractor to prepare a proposal based on its content.
