The standard establishes a selection of nominal pressures fo r hydraulic and pneumatic fluid power connectors and associa ted componentes. NOTE: There may be a need for providing a s election of nominal pressures for connectors and associated components used in applications where the external pressure on the components is greater than the internal pressure, for example vacuum service. A document which deals with this su bject will be established in due course.
