scope:
This Standard defines the conditions governing the manufacture of ordnance and associated components, including ordnance of foreign manufacture in UK service. It also defines the procedure to be adopted for examination and inspection and gives the regulations for the proof of such ordnance.
This Standard does not apply to infantry mortars or infantry anti-tank weapons; it does, however, include the anti-submarine mortar and decoy mortars in Naval service .
