This specification covers the design, development, performance, and test requirements for the Antenna Group, OE-415(V)/SRC, hereinafter referred to as the antenna group. The antenna group is a nominal 4.1-meter (m) (14-foot (ft)) twin-whip configuration which provides broadband frequency coverage in the 4-megahertz (MHz) to 30-MHz range for high frequency (HF) shipboard receiving systems.
intended Use:
The antenna group covered by this specification is intended for shipboard use as a part of the communications antenna groups utilized in the DDG-51 Class guided missile destroyer.
