scope:

- The equipment covered by this specification shall provide radio frequency reception and transmission, single-sideband communications, in the high frequency 2 to 30 MHz band. It shall provide for two-way simplex communications for voice, teletype, and Link 11 tactical data. The Radio Set RF Amplifier output shall be either 400 watts or 1000 watts average or peak envelope power.
