This specification covers sensitized flexible synthetic resin stock, coated with diazo compounds, in sheet or roll form and which is dimensionally stable within the limits specified herein. This film is intended for use in making prints or intermediates of original copy, drawings, and tracings.

The sensitized material covered by this specification shall be classified according to the following types, classes, subolasses and styles, as specified (see 6.2).

Types: I - Diazotype, ammonia vapor process. II - Diazotype, moist process. Classes: 1. Sensitized, matte surface, smooth back. 2. Sensitized, matte surface, matte back. 3. Sensitized, smooth surface, matte back. 4. Sensitized, smooth surface, smooth back. Subclasses: a. High dimensional stability. b. Medium dimensional stability. Styles: 1A - Black line. 1B - Sepia line.
