The aim of this agreement is to standardize the format of cannon surface-to-surface firing tables, by specifying the sections of these tables and the type of information and layout of data contained therein using standard symbols where possible.
This is to make it possible for NATO Army Forces to understand and be able to use each others cannon surface-to-surface firing tables, especially when applicable to common equipment.
