Section 1 gives general information on methods of acceptance sampling inspection with particular reference to the sampling procedures and tables for inspection by attributes given in ANSVASQC 21.4, ANSIíASQC 43, ANSVASQC S 1, and IS0 8422. This document explains the terms used, describes the various schemes and plans, gives practical advice on sampling inspection, and discusses some of the theoretical aspects.
Section 2 extends the introduction of acceptance sampling of Section 1 and amplifies the introductory text and instructions contained in ANSIíASQC Z1.4, by giving detailed comments and examples to assist in using the method of sampling inspection that constitutes the ANSIíASQC Z1.4 sampling system.
