This specification covers graphite electrodes for use in spectrometric analysis of metallic elements in used oils and other fluids.
The electrodes shall be of the following types and part numbers as specified in 3.4:

intended Use:
The electrodes, rod type II and disc type I, are intended to be utilized as pairs and are further intended for use in a spectrometer specifically designed to analyze oils and fluids.
