scope:
This specification establishes engineering and design criteria for the development and construction of NAVAIR Mobile Facility (MF) Units. These MF's or units are class 1 nonexpandable tactical shelters used for testing as defined in MIL-STD-907. The nominal exterior dimensions are; 8-feet wide, 8-feet high and 20 feet long in the shipping mode configuration. The Mobile Testing Facility shall be referred to hereafter as the MF or unit.
Certain provisions of this unit are the subject of an international standardization agreement, ISO 1496/1.
