This specification covers the following types of weatherproof connectors of the "TPS" series, designed to produced minimum discontinuities in a solid dielectric coaxial cable of characteristic impedance of 50 ohms, up to a frequency of 10,000 megacycles and rated at 1,500 volts r.m.s. at sea level (see 6.4).
