This section of IEC 364-5 applies to low-voltage and extra-low voltage installations which incorporate generating sets intended to supply, either continuously or occasionally, all or part of the installation. Requirements are included for installation with the following supply arrangements: - Supply to an installation which is not connected to the public supply, or as an alternative to the public supply, or in parallel with the public supply, or appropriate combinations of the above.
