This specification establishes the requirements for two types of aircraft adjustable crew seats for downward ejection as follows:
Type H-1 Seat with diagonal adjustment for pilots, co-pilots, and other crew members who may require diagonal adjustment. Type H-2 Seat with vertical adjustment only for navigators, bom- bardiers, radio operators, et cetera.
intended Use:
These downward ejection seats are intended for use in aircraft by the pilot, co-pilot, and other crew members.
