Eurocode 6 applies to the design of buildings and civil engineering works in unreinforced, reinforced, prestressed and confined masonry. Eurocode 6 is only concerned with the requirements for resistance, serviceability and durability of structures. Other requirements for example, concerning thermal or sound insulation, are not considered.
