This specification covers the filling and assembly of HC Smoke Canisters for a base ejection shell.
The canister components shall be furnished in the following types as specified (see 6.2):
Type M1 - Canister, Smoke, HC, 155MM Projectile (Dwg D15-11-33).
Type M2 - Canister, Smoke, HC, 155MM Projectile (Dwg D15-11-41).
intended Use:
The HC smoke canisters are components for a 155MM base ejection smoke shell, which is used for screening, spotting and signaling purposes.
